ux and design

Our goal is to create a great experience that is compelling, easy, and enjoyable to use.

First design, then build

Conn3cted is design-led and follows both a user-centric and design thinking methodology.

First, we understand the end-user and what they need to achieve. We then develop the experience before any code is written – to allow stakeholders and end-users to review and provide input along the customer journey.

Design thinking

Design thinking is a human-centric approach to innovation that integrates user needs, possibilities of technology and requirements for business success.

Thinking like a designer and tapping the creativity of the business project team can generate creative opportunities and ideas from your organisation that you may not have thought about.

UX Methodology

To achieve a compelling experience, you need to understand, target and validate user needs.

The UX Process aims to encourage interaction and brainstorming to gain as much understanding as possible of the business process and requirements. Let’s look at some of the things you can expect during your project delivery.

Visual prototypes

We use low-fidelity prototypes to communicate design ideas quickly and capture any feedback on an ongoing basis. Once the design is locked down, we will create a high-fidelity design that will be developed.

Personas

Listen to your users and turn off all assumptions through developing personas. Through this process we can summarize what we do know and highlight opportunities and points of friction for your users. Focus on building for your users.

Sketches & Wireframes

Wireframes connect the underlying content structure/information architecture to the UI without applying visual design.

• Content – What will be displayed?

• Structure – Where will they be placed?

• Function – How will the interface work?

• Behaviour – How does the user interact?

Information Architecture

Organizing, structuring and labelling information in a way that focuses on the importance of information and assists in achieving user goals, such as live scores in an effective and sustainable way.
