Last week, Sydney hosted the annual AWS Summit which featured keynotes that addressed and highlighted the latest announcements from AWS, customer testimonials, technical sessions led by AWS engineers, and hands-on technical training. There were leading technologists that were teaching best practices for deploying applications on AWS, optimising performance, monitoring cloud resources, managing security, cutting costs, and more..
Whether you were new to the cloud or an experienced user, you had the opportunity to learn something new at the AWS Summit. This event was designed to educate new customers about the AWS platform and offer existing customers information on architecture best practices and new services.
As an AWS Technology partner, Conn3cted provide software solutions that are either hosted on, or integrated with, the AWS platform.
We use Amazon AWS for all our production and customer infrastructure, so Rick (Bohai) Gan our Infrastructure Support lead, attended the Summit and found that it was a great opportunity to extend his knowledge on AWS cloud computing.  The informative technical demonstrations on how AWS is used in Enterprise environments and mobile applications was a key take out from the day.
